About Kata Carrillo

Kata Carrillo is an entrepreneur,  mentor, money mindset coach, licensed financial professional, and HowMoneyWorks Educator who is passionate about empowering others with financial literacy and fostering entrepreneurial success.

Recognized as a dynamic educator and advocate for women’s empowerment, Kata dedicates her career to helping others improve their financial confidence, unlock their potential in life and business, and build a lasting legacy. Her work inspires individuals to take action, make bold moves, and achieve greater impact in their lives.

In addition to her work in financial services, Kata is a passionate Event and Retreat Curator, specializing in creating transformative spaces for personal growth, empowerment, and meaningful connection. She is also a dedicated Community Organizer, actively involved in fundraising and scholarship initiatives. 

Through fundraising events in Las Vegas, Kata mentors a group of high school interns and together they raise funds for the La Lucha Las Vegas Community Scholarship, which supports local high school graduates in their transition to college.

After overcoming significant health challenges, including multiple surgeries, Kata has returned stronger than ever and is committed to helping others break free from limitations, master their finances, and take control of their time and opportunities.

Based in Las Vegas, Kata shares her journey with her husband and business partner, Julian Carrillo. Together, they prioritize family time with their youngest child and enjoy quick getaways to recharge and reconnect. At home, their two loyal Xoloitzcuintli dogs add warmth and joy to their family life.

Driven by a deep commitment to uplifting individuals, Kata's work focuses on creating opportunities for growth, financial security, and community engagement, both locally and globally. She is proud to give back to the Las Vegas community and champion women entrepreneurs worldwide.
